YUURI (full name Rekka Yuuri) is a character made for the voice synthesizer UTAU,

created by Aoi Haruki and formerly released in may 31st 2012.

Her development was in a hiatus status between 2013~2014, when in february of 2014

Rekka Yuuri received a new voicebank update called "ACT2", a simple CV monopitch vb

with a very strong voice. The voicebank was being used until 2015, when Aoi Haruki

recorded a "Soft" CV vb due the necessity of a softer voice for YUURI.

Since then, Rekka Yuuri has received a lot of different voicebanks, but they were all

low quality and badly otoed due to Aoi Haruki's lack of experience in otoing that time.

At the middle-end of 2016, the name changed from Rekka Yuuri to just YUURI and the

voicebanks "CAKE" and "CHERRY CAKE" were re-recorded with better quality and better japanese accent, being followed by new voicebanks. 

All the old voicebanks were deleted except for "YUURI -aka-" due requests.

Recently YUURI is also available for the voice synthesizer Deep Vocal.

All of her voicebanks can be used in OpenUTAU as well.
