Backstory

Rekka Yuuri was, at first, just a regular child of a brazilian-japanese couple
living in Brazil. She was born as Luna Gabriele Rekkumi - and lived with her family
a regular yet good life in the north of Paraná, south of Brazil, but after
a trip to Japan to visit her mom's motherland - Osaka - when she was
15 years old, what were supposed to be just a tragic car
accident would change her life forever.
In the accident, only her father was left alive without major injuries. Her mom had passed in the moment of the crash, and Yuuri had her body almost completely smashed by the truck that knocked on them. The rescue was quick to arrive and
send them to the hospital, and, for a miracle, Yuuri was still alive since her head
and chest were intact, despite the conditions of her lower limbs and arms. Her dad recovered in less than two days, meanwhile several surgery process had to be made on his daughter - including amputations.

After a long week of procedures, the doctors were ready to give up her case, saying to her father she would live a miserable life if she were to survive in her current conditions, yet the poor man - who already lost his wife, and was about to lose his only child - asked them to keep her on the devices until he was ready to say goodbye. It was then that a light in the end of the tunnel made its entrance.

"I can save your daughter", a woman he never saw before in the hospital said,
"but you'll have to let me be her legal guardian from now on, and never see her again." Desperate to make his daughter survive no matter how, Yuuri's dad agreed without a second thought. "Just let me know how she is from time to time please, Miss," it was his only request and the woman simply grinned at him.
"You'll know of her shortly, sir. But not from me," this was her answer.
This mysterious businesswoman named Mini was the leader of the RGB, an enterprise that started focusing on saving people from life-risk accidents to remake them into idols - giving them new life, new body if needed, new memories, new everything - in Japan. And Yuuri was the first one of them, keeping only her brain and heart from her human body. The name Rekka Yuuri came from her mom's last name "Rekkumi".

However, Vibe - Mini's daughter - intervened in her mom's plans to make RGB's debut in the music industry with Yuuri, since she claimed Yuuri to be hers and wanted to have a younger sister so bad. Thus, Yuuri's new body was designed to have super strength - to serve as Vibe's bodyguard as well - and her initial vocal chords were made to allow basic speaking capability, which made Vibe satisfied. Their hair colors now matched and they indeed were looking like sisters, even with Yuuri being the tallest despite being the youngest one.

As RGB started to save more people thanks to their time-space travel agent EDDIE, the idol group named CMYK began to arise, with Yuuri as the key-color "blue". Her vocal chords went through several techno surgeries to allow her best singing capabilities, as her stage-persona self started being built.
Yuuri found herself to have a tomboy-ish style not only in clothing but actions, yet, on stage, she wore cute dresses cake-themed and would act delicately, as a good idol should.
YUURI would sing in many voice expressions - from soft to powerful, from sweet to deep - and so,
RGB decided having her playing both genders' roles as the "blue" in the group, which made Yuuri glad
enough even wearing clothes she never enjoyed using on stage.

YUURI is genderfluid when it comes to her voice - since she can sing in
both ranges, as well assuming a deeper tone in male range songs - but
about her identity, you could say she's non-binary, even using female pronouns frequently. It doesn't matter to her, she exists just the way
she is, and that's good enough.

Once CMYK was finally formed, she became close friends with VIICTOR "green", Yonkkoch Sian "ciano", and Kinoko Odine, who later became the
"red" of the color-idol group. She gets well with almost everyone,
although most of the former members left at one point and were
replaced by new ones, the friendship and bonds with these in special
just became stronger with the time.

Since VIICTOR is a time-travel voyager just like EDDIE - who
turns out to be his boyfriend -, he has an infinite knowledge
to share and so, he taught YUURI new languages, as well as
helping her with brazilian portuguese once she learned about
her half-brazilian/half-japanese origins.
As nor YUURI nor VIICTOR (or EDDIE) are monogamous,
at one point they tried a romantic relationship, but since
VIICTOR travels between the time-space a lot and
YUURI's not willing to follow, they decided to
stay just like the good friends they always have been.
Lately they adopted a cosmic cat together and whenever
VIICTOR's around, they are often each other's confidant.

Sian once was a Korea war veteran, and since he had
his memories sealed and replaced, he became a chaotic
and sluttish guy who's not very fond of order,
yet Yuuri loves turning RGB's quarters
upside down with him whenever they hang out
together for too long.

Despite all the chaos he's a good guy deep inside,
and in any case, Yuuri is there to keep him on track.
They consider themselves as each other's best friend
and best duo in CMYK.

With Odine, things started with the timid and
naive girl - who was raised by mutant mushrooms - asking Yuuri to help her with her mushroom greenhouse, where she raises her "family".
She would talk to them and hug the mushrooms
from all colors and sizes, all the while Yuuri was soothing the earth to plant a new one.
They've been doing it for years now, and Yuuri considers Odine to be her "protected one" since
she's too pure for this world in her point of view.
If someone ever dares to mess with Odine, Yuuri will surely be there to punish them with her fists.

Yuuri has several kouhai artists, who aren't related directly to RGB, but that she took under her wing to better aid them, since she's now got the money and ways to do so. She's a good senpai, even if not as patient or leniant as she thinks she should be.
When it comes to her love partners - GUDY and Josette - things reach a supernatural/spiritual level. In a world where she can exist as she is - an android with human brain and heart - why there wouldn't be angels or demons?
GUDY and Josette were both born as angels and attended at the angels' academy on Heaven together as friends,
since GUDY has a friendly nature since creation, and Josette
always felt like she could never truly fit in with the others.

At one point they got separated, and as GUDY was the best of his class he attracted envy from his fellow colleagues, which caused them to architect his fall to Earth. And so GUDY lost his immortality,
as well his authority over mortals to care for them as an angel,
but remained the same at heart despite this sudden change of fate.

EDDIE found GUDY lost on the streets of Tokyo, he still knew no other language than the angel's one, and if it wasn't for the cosmic-traveler agent, who knows what would happen to the fallen angel?

Able to communicate with GUDY, EDDIE took him to RGB, where he signed the contract with Mini to be an idol at the CMYK group and to learn japanese to at least know how to communicate with the others better. Since VIICTOR left the group and wasn't responsible for the language classes anymore, such task was left with no one less than YUURI.

During this period of adaptation, YUURI and GUDY got attached enough for them to start a romantic relationship together.

Meanwhile all of this happened with GUDY, Josette at one point discovered that she wasn't, after all, born to be an angel. After some exams and tests, her superiors reached the conclusion she always has been, in fact, meant to be a demon working in Hell.

Demons don't abide for the same laws as angels, and so they can roam more freely around the humans on Earth. Thanks to this, Josette heard from other demon colleague that GUDY, her former friend, fell from Heaven and was now living as a human.

Curious enough to look for him to know how he was doing after such shock, Josette found RGB even without EDDIE's aid but had to talk with Mini personally, so she could finally meet her old friend.
